I saw this on Forever In A Story‘s blog and thought this was a really fun idea! I hope to see you participate too, because I would love to see your answers and get to know you better! (Please tag me so I can read them!)
1. Favorite Book of All Time
William Peter Blatty’s The Exorcist!

When I was around 6 years old my babysitter, who was a woman in her 50’s by the way, not some teenager, showed me the film version of The Exorcist. Needless to say, I was really f*cked up over it! At the time, I was in Catholic school, and after the movie was over I developed a major fear of being possessed.
So a couple years later I realized it was a book! Sometimes when something scares you a lot, you feel the need to look into it more so you can find a way to understand it or feel more prepared for it, right? Ultimately, that is what I was trying to do. I bought the book thinking it would help quell my fears, when in reality it solidified and amplified all of them instead.
However, I do have to thank my babysitter for all of this because it is how I began my horror obsession.
2. Favorite Book 5 Years Ago
Death by Cannibal by Peter Davidson
This book is insane. I plan on re-reading this soon and giving a full review because I remember this being fascinating! It is a compilation of multiple non-fiction stories, ranging from more well known cannibals like the NYC Cannibal Cop, to some less known ones that are extremely disturbing.
3. Favorite Duology, Trilogy, and Series
To be 100% honest with you, I don’t even f*ck with books unless they’re either a solo writing or have at least 5+ books in the series! So I cannot speak on duologies and trilogies. *shrugs* Sorry.
But, I can tell you what some of my favorite series are!
The Sookie Stackhouse Series by Charline Harris (Otherwise known as the True Blood Books)
Preternatural Series by Zoe Winters (Be forewarned that this shit gets steamy.)
Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward (Another super steamy collection.)
4. The Last Book you Read
The Amulet, by Michael McDowell

I cannot wait to review this one! I love creepy concepts like cursed and haunted objects, so I would recommend this book to anyone who’s looking for some good old graphic and violent fun.
5. The Last Poetry you Read
Am I a bad reader?!
I don’t fully understand or appreciate poetry, so I don’t read it. Is being this self aware a good thing or does it limit me from expanding my horizons? Who’s to say.
6. What Book Most Influenced Your Life?
Fight Club, by Chuck Palahniuk

Before the movie was the book, and I held onto that book all through high school like it was the last copy of the damn bible! That book helped form my outlook on a lot of things and I even have a quote from the book tattooed on my ribs that reads:
“It’s only after we’ve lost everything that we’re free to do anything.”
For me, this quote still has power and I believe that it always will.
7. What Book Made You Ugly Cry?
I save the tears for my K-Dramas… And if you must know, it was Goblin. I swear, so far in my life, the only other time I ever cried that hard was when my dog, (and best friend forever,) passed away.
Ugly. Cry. Maximum. Overdrive.

8. Name a Book that Made You Laugh
Again… Seriously… Am I a bad reader, y’all?
You can tell me the truth! Or maybe just recommend something to me in the comments that will make me laugh! Haha. š I’m starting to feel like I keep reading the same kinds of books and I am really limiting myself!
9. What Character Would You Like to be for One Day?
Sookie Stackhouse had it made y’all.
She has super powers that makes her useful and special, she’s a size 10 and sincerely proud of her figure, she’s got a bunch of sexy vamps, shifters, and werewolves worshiping her at any given moment, and she survives death more times than I can count. #boss
10. A Book So Good that You Dreamed About It
I only have terrible dreams about things like being at work all day… Seriously. It’s weird and unfortunate.
11. A Book You Did Not Finish
A Guide for Murdered Children: A Novel, by Sarah Sparrow

Eventually, I plan on finally putting this thing to rest, 6 feet under… but at the moment there are just too many good books to read. I can’t waste my time on something that’s just not resonating, you know? I really don’t like to leave things unfinished but I am half way in and this book is a f*cking mess.
12. What Book Are You Most Excited to Read?
There’s Someone Inside Your House, by Stephanie Perkins
I love to be (safely) scared and if a concept like, “there’s someone in your house” can’t deliver, then Houston… We have a problem.
I TAG YOU!
First of all, thank you for reading! Secondly please get involved and make a post answering the questions above! I’d love to get to know you better and see what books make you tick! š
xoxo

Death by Cannibal sounds pretty cool. I may add that to my TBR list.
I love that you have a Fight Club tattoo! I was lucky enough to get to meet Chuck Palahniuk on a book tour for the Fight Club graphic novel. He is as cool as you imagine.
Artemis was a beauty!
